Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking | MFAA Accreditated Finance Broker

I arrived in Australia in 2010 and received a full research scholarship to complete a Master's degree by research at the University of Adelaide, specialising in Civil Engineering.

In 2013, I was selected from 12,000 candidates to join Rio Tinto's graduate program, working as a Geotechnical Engineer across many Rio Tinto sites, including Brockman, Tom Price, West Angelas, and Paraburdoo.

Driven by my passion for finance, working with people, and becoming an entrepreneur, I transitioned to becoming a finance broker in 2016 and established my own business in 2018.

With my background in research and engineering, I am detail oriented and possess an analytical mind. I enjoy working with my clients to design plans that help them achieve their financial goals. Firmly believing that "knowledge is power," I am constantly motivated to learn new things.

Outside of work, I take pleasure in spending time with my family and travelling to explore different culture.

I started my career in finance industry as a personal banker with ANZ in 2012. Since then, I have assisted numerous clients with their daily and complex financial needs, including accounts setup, insurance offering and home loan advices.  

After working with ANZ for 3 years, I chose to become a finance and mortgage broker where I am able to work with plenty of trustworthy lenders and offer wider options to my clients.  

I am familiar with application processes of various lenders and have experience in handling complex application scenarios. I found it particularly meaningful being able to help my clients solve financial issues and manage their wealth.  Feel free to contact me if you have any question about your home loan or finance plan. Yiewen is our broker support officer. Yiewen has good understanding in general finance and is familiar with loan application processes. Yiewen speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
